The condition of the statue in the circle in front of Roslyn High School has deteriorated badly in the last year, and is now a safety concern. The school district is reaching out to residents and alumni who may be interested in taking on the responsibility for removing this historical artifact from its current location and having it restored. District & Village of East Hills Get Better Terms on Local Development

The Roslyn Public Schools and the Village of East Hills worked collaboratively to negotiate higher payments in lieu of taxes on a proposed development of the former Pall Corporation site. The developer, Steel Equities, will make $7.2 million more in payments under the new agreement than under an original tax abatement plan.
